Tanmoy Newaz
Conference Chair
As a first year Biological Sciences student at the University of Calgary, Tanmoy is an active STEM field advocate with a keen interest in biomedical research. His interests however, expand beyond the fields of life sciences, with volunteerism, campus wide social-justice, and immigrant/refugee health research taking up the majority of his free time. When times get tough and situations get stressful, you'll most likely find him playing guitar to keep his sanity in check!
